Open House is an event for High School seniors with an interest in attending WKU to major in Agriculture. During this free event, students and parents will be able to:

-Enter in a drawing for chance to receive a $500 scholarship. Must be present to win

-Meet one-on-one with any of our Professors

-Network with current students and clubs

-Talk to Alumni about various career opportunities WKU can offer them

-Have questions answered by Housing, Scholarship, and Admissions 

-Enjoy a free lunch, courtesy of the WKU Department of Agriculture

-Tour the WKU Farm 

-Finalize the final steps in preparing their Home on the Hill!

Registration is due November 17th by 12:00 pm

What do I bring?

To be considered for the Open House Scholarship, you must have:

-Completed the WKU Topdollar Scholarship Application (https://www.wku.edu/topdollar/) You must be admitted to WKU to complete this application

​

Bring with you that day:

-Official High School Transcript from your school’s guidance office

-Two letters of reference

-List of activities, honors, and offices held in school, church, FFA, 4-H, and other organizations

-A narrative sharing your future goals and plans, why you need financial assistance, and any other considerations you wish to share with the selection committee

-Results of your ACT or SAT
